Hakim Albasrawy has over a decade of experience spanning renewable energy, entrepreneurship, and social impact across Southeast Asia. He is the co-founder of Bright Spots Energy, where he focuses on advancing energy transition and access through innovative solar financing models, including pioneering a zero-capex home solar subscription in Malaysia and the Philippines.
His work has supported thousands of underserved and Indigenous communities with access to clean energy, and he is an active advocate for a just energy transition that prioritises inclusion and community development. Hakim has completed leadership programmes with Acumen Academy and Stanford University.
