Mei Yi has over a decade of experience across renewable energy, community building, and digital platforms in Southeast Asia.
She is the co-founder of Bright Spots Energy, where she leads energy access initiatives in Malaysia, delivering solar solutions to over 1,600 households across 50 underserved communities. She also founded We Can, an education program focused on expanding opportunities for disadvantaged children, and has led initiatives such as PechaKucha Petaling Jaya to foster cross-sector collaboration.
Previously, she was General Manager, Asia at Peatix and held regional roles at Singtel. Mei Yi holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from National University of Singapore.
